How much does it cost to do IVF in India?

In the current times, many couples face problems in family planning. Infertility may be caused in the woman or the man. It may be because of stress, lifestyle problems or any other genetic issues. But with the advent of technology, infertility is no more a cause of tension. It can be dealt with easily using the developments in medical sciences. Our medical experts have developed various Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) which have made it possible for couples to have a child naturally. It may be in the form of artificial insemination, intra cytoplasmic sperm injection or using infertility medicines or even In Vitro Fertilization.

In Vitro Fertilization is one of the most commonly adopted techniques used for dealing with infertility. This technique is used when the fallopian tubes are blocked in women, or she suffers from PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), any kind of genetic disorder in either the female or male or reduced sperm count or male infertility, etc. It is used even when the reasons for infertility are unable to be determined.

The procedure for IVF includes the eggs of the woman extracted from the body using a thin catheter which is inserted in the female body after taking an ultrasound scan of the abdominal area.
The catheter is guided into the uterine area of the woman through the help of ultrasound images. The eggs are thus extracted from the female body and kept in a petri dish in the laboratory under special conditions. The male sperm is also collected which is made ready to be infused with the female egg. The egg and the sperm are kept in a single dish to be fertilized. Once the fertilization happens, it forms an embryo. It is kept outside for 3-5 days after the formation of the embryo.

The embryo is then transferred to the uterus of the woman by using a catheter which is inserted in the uterus of the woman. This may cause a slight cramping the the woman. IVF is most successful if the age of the woman is below 35 years. With the increase in age, the chances of success rate of this procedure decreases and more sessions of IVF need to be done for better results.

The best infertility treatment in Noida is done with assurance that child bearing will no more be a trouble for couples. The cost of treatment of infertility cannot be exactly estimated. It differs from situation to situation, the process used and also varies from one city to another. However, in general, the charges for infertility treatment in India is much lower than that of Western countries. Specialized hospitals and doctors (IVF Specialists) in top cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. provide the best cutting edge technology for treatment to ensure a healthy pregnancy. The treatment costs also differ if you need additional treatments or use frozen eggs or donor sperms/eggs. These would be required by couples with low fertility rates.

When comes to the age of a woman, again the treatment varies. A woman of age lower than 32 years has chances of successful IVF treatment around 30% whereas women around 40 years of age may have to get the IVF treatment around 5 times done. These days, the treatment packages are offered as such which include multiple cycle IVF treatment. Usually in India, families go for fertility treatment ranging from 2 lakh onwards, which again varies.

Over the years, the rate of fertility gradually declines and then external help and assistance is needed in most cases for conceiving a child.

At the time a girl is born, she has a lifetime supply of eggs within her. It can be surprising to know that one is born with around one to two million eggs just during the birth! Over the years, the supply of eggs in her gets on diminishing. And to add to this, not all eggs are healthy and best suitable for conception of a baby. It’s only a few eggs which are left which tend to be the best ones for getting pregnant.

For every woman, the decision to plan and start a family is a very crucial one. You should know and be sure of how long will it take for you to be pregnant and conceive a child. The fertility of a woman starts declining around her 30’s and drop down to lower rates around the age of 35. One has to use artificial methods like In Vitro Fertilization and probably donor eggs to have a healthy pregnancy at this age.

From the perspective of a healthy biology, it is recommended to plan for conceiving a baby before you turn 35 to avoid any kind of complications when comes to pregnancy.

One should know about the best age and also the best time in her monthly menstrual cycle to achieve the maximum chances of conceiving a child. It is just one week in the entire moth, which is around 14 days prior to the beginning of your next menstrual cycle, that you have the most chances of being fertile and conceive a child.
When comes to the age of being the most fertile and higher chances of getting pregnant, below are the facts mentioned about age wise chances of being pregnant.

The 20’s

This is the time when a woman is at the peak of her fertility. Especially at the age of 24-25, the changes of being pregnant are the maximum. At this age, the eggs in a woman’s body are chromosomally normal. The chances of being pregnant is upto 96% if it is tried for 1 entire year. But again, if the man is under the age of 25, the chances lower down.Even the man’s age affects his fertility.

The chances of getting pregnant decine a little in the late 20’s. It drops down to around 85% when tried for a year, during the mid to late twenties. The likely chances of miscarriage in the late twenties is around 10%.

The 30’s

The early 30s are still good for pregnancy. It’s just that the odds of miscarriage increase upto 20% as compared to 10% in the late twenties. Further, if the woman is aged above 35, she needs to consult a fertility specialist. There may be requirement of artificial reproductive technique as the egg quality keeps further declining by this age.Even chances of abnormal pregnancy exist around this time.

The 40’s

By the 40’s there may be some complications in conceiving a child. Around 90% of women face a problem that their eggs get chromosomally abnormal. Fertility treatment should be taken and one can go for IVF.

At any age, if there are complications in conceiving a child and the reasons for this cannot be determined as such, you need to consult a Laparoscopic Surgeon. How soon can you leave the hospital after giving birth?

Before you go to any maternity hospital for delivery, you must be eager to know about how and when will you be able to leave the hospital after you give birth to your little bundle of joy. Welcoming the baby home for the first time is a joy in its own.

To be specific, the number of days of stay at the hospital is not fixed, but varies from condition to condition and the general health of the mother and the child. If the baby is born through normal vaginal delivery, generally the doctors allow you to take the baby home after they perform a simple test (APGAR TEST) which is done to assess the good health of the newborn. Also, you need to take rest until the Anesthesia wears off.If they find any complications, it is addressed immediately so that the baby can go home healthy. APGAR test is performed to check the Activity (muscle tone), Pulse, Grimace (reflex irritability), Appearance (color of the skin) and the Respiration of the skin. It is performed immediately after the birth once by doctors and take hardly 5 minutes. Again, it is done after sometime to check whether the baby is able to adapt itself to the outside world in its first few hours.

Moreover, you need to take rest until the Anesthesia wears off. It can take upto 12 hours for the
epidural anesthesia to wear off. Only then you will be able to walk properly and get back the feeling in your legs. You may also need to stay overnight if you have any tear in the abdominal area which needs to be taken care of.

In case of natural vaginal birth of the baby, within 24-48 hours the mother and child are relieved by the hospital when there are no complications at any stage.
Some mothers choose to stay in the hospital overnight, when it is their first delivery. In consequent deliveries, they can leave sooner when everything is as expected.

When there is C-section or Cesarean delivery, at least 2-3 days of hospital stay is required for the complete recovery and good health. And that is when there are no complications involved. Post C-section delivery, the doctors make sure that you are able to walk around, go to the washroom, urinate properly and also eat and drink without vomiting. The exact days of leaving the hospital depends upon the above conditions and cannot be the same for everyone.

And even when you leave hospital post delivery, be in constant touch with your doctor, for the first few weeks so that you can consult them at any moment you need and also monitor your baby’s healthy growth closely.

In the initial post natal phase, make sure you have a healthy diet and have a lot of fluid intake. This is because you will be in the initial milk production phase. Eat whole grains, fibres, fresh fruit and vegetables. This is needed for the good health of the mother as well as the child.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY?

Obstetrics and gynaecologist are doctors specialising in two different aspects of the female
reproductive system. Often they are confused as the same people. The reason for that being
that a lot of maternity doctors qualify as Ob-Gyn, which means they hold a degree to deal with
both the aspects of the female reproductive system.

An Obstetrics deals with pregnant women, unborn children, labour and delivery. They also take care
of the patient a short while after the delivery of the child too. Their main job is to take care of any
issues and complications that may arise during the period of pregnancy. Be it related to the mother.
The unborn child, or to the newborn, an Obstetrics is a person to go to. They also ensure that labour
and delivery are carried out without any complications. There can be a number of complications
arising during pregnancy like ectopic pregnancy, fetal distress caused by compression.
They also deal with problems arising with the placenta or high blood pressure. They are like guides
who help in getting the baby to this world safely by advising the mother about things to be done and
not to be done all throughout the pregnancy. Even after pregnancy, the obstetrics ensures that the
mother and the child stay healthy as they transition into their routine and the baby gets adjusted well
with everything that is new around it. So, basically, the medical specialty of the obstetrics is pregnancy
and childbirth.
A gynaecologist, on the other hand, deals with the ailments, disorders, or diseases related to the
female reproductive organs that are the uterus, vagina, cervix, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. They
also treat problems related to bowel, bladder, and urinary system as all these organs are very closely
related to the female reproductive organ. They basically treat all the diseases that are associated with
the reproductive tract. Unlike obstetrics, a woman visits a gynaecologist more often for routine
check-ups for the wellness of their reproductive tracts. They also perform certain surgical procedures
like:
Tubal ligation – a permanent form of birth control
Hysterectomy- removal of the uterus
Oophorectomy – removal of the ovaries
Salpingectomy – removal of the fallopian tubes
Cone biopsy -remove precancerous cells in the cervix identified during a pap test

Usually, a gynaecologist is also referred to as an ob-gyn.The ob-gyn is a doctor that takes care of one of the most intimate areas of your body. It is, therefore, necessary to make a sound choice before making a decision about which doctor to go to. It is better to go with the references given by other people as they have already experienced their services. You can find some of the best gynecologist in Noida, at Motherland Hospital. The experts here are specialised not just in child birth but also in prenatal and post-natal care. Making a choice is important as you will only open up about something so personal only once you are comfortable. Reasons Why You Should Bring Your Child to a Pediatric Hospital

A child is the most special thing that comes to a couple. It is the best gift that they can ever ask for.
Since it is so precious, a parent will go miles to keep his/her child happy, safe, and away from any
danger. They make sure that their child’s growth and development is well looked after and they are
nurtured and nourished properly. A major step that comes into taking care of this growing up phase
is to choose a good paediatrician.

A paediatrician is a doctor who is specialised in treating children and their diseases. A paediatrician is
more than just a doctor. S/he is basically your guide from pregnancy till your child gets their first
permanent tooth. They do not just treat children, they take care of them physically, emotionally, and
mentally. They are like a medical support system for both the child and the parents.

The major issue with kids is that they aren’t expressive enough to tell what they want or what they
are feeling. The most activity they can do is to point at something, trying to tell what is wrong. The
case is even worse with infant and toddlers. Because they cannot speak they try conveying their
pain by crying and it is most of the times difficult to get what the issue is actually. A regular doctor,
howsoever well-trained s/he might be, will find it difficult to treat an infant or a child. The reason being
they are not well trained to deal with such patients. Moreover, children are really fragile and delicate.
It is risky to try healing them with the dosage of medication that adults take. With the development of
the pharma industry, the market is now flooded with drugs that are child specific. It is obvious that a
regular doctor, who is used to treating adults, would not be aware of anything like this and hence
might not be the best-suited option for your child’s wellbeing.

Therefore, it is always better to reach out for a paediatrician for all your queries and problems related
to your child. They are practising in that particular domain of medical science and are well trained to
deal with any problem, new or old that your baby might be suffering from. They are well versed with
all the developments, be it in medicine, diagnosis, or treatment that are available across the globe
specifically for children. Not just mere current knowledge, their medical training has equipped them
with the specialised knowledge about how differently a baby’s function from an adult. Hence the
diagnosis they make and the treatment they offer will be far better and more effective than the
once prescribed by a regular doctor.

Nowadays it is not even a major issue to find a paediatrician. So many doctors are specialising in this field of medicine and are experts at what they do. There are thousands of hospitals and medical centres with highly trained professionals across Delhi/NCR. One of the best paediatrics hospitals that you can find in Noida is Motherland Hospital. It is a perfect destination to assure the best healthcare for your child. So be a smart parent and make sure that you choose the best paediatrician for your child’s healthcare.
